Last year I was thrilled to join with other SFR bloggers to award the first annual SFR Galaxy Awards. We’ve done it again with six judges naming up to five books (and the occasional movie) to be recognized for their contribution to our favorite genre. It’s an honor and wonderfully tough job picking just a few books published in 2013 in this growing subgenre!

This year’s picks will be posted throughout the day. My awards will be announced at 6PM to wrap up the event. Please comment, argue, agree, spread the word about this year’s awards. We want SFR and these talented authors to get all the buzz they deserve.

The SFR Galaxy Awards is an annual, multi-award event for science fiction romance books. Launched in 2012 by bloggers Laurie A. Green of Spacefreighters Lounge and Heather Massey of The Galaxy Express, the goal of this event is to honor a variety of standout stories.
